Savera, who has a Masters in Biochemistry from Kasturba Medical College, India is working as a senior Lab Specialist in the lab. She joined the lab in 1998 and since has been the key Molecular Biology person in the lab. Her main forte is genotyping the different crosses of mice. In addition she works on other projects and helps others in their projects. Her recent project is looking at COBRA1 levels in different areas of mouse brain in steroid hormone treated animals to see if COBRA1 is regulated by steroid hormones. She is also blessed with a 3yr old daughter Arghya, who takes up most of her time.
