Research Description:

I joined the Rissman lab in May of 2005 and will be here for the summer, working on various projects. I am finishing my last year in a Medical Sciences program at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. I hope to attend medical school in the next few years, as well as perfect my tennis game!

Currently I am investigating whether sexual differences exist for spinophilin, a protein marker of spinal density, in mouse brains. I am also helping out with other projects such as Jessi's study of differences in androgen receptors in the core cross (XY-, XY-sry, XX, XXsry mice).
