Research Description:

My research interests center around the sexual behavior of animals. I have been investigating the role of learning in the sexual behavior of birds for several years. I have generated evidence that demonstrates that whether birds learn, what they learn, and the way learning is expressed is highly dependent upon the parameters surrounding the sexual encounter.

My current research focuses on the interaction between the internal and external environments. Specifically, I am investigating the reciprocal relationship between reproductive physiology and sexual learning in mice.
