The Brochure: WORKSHOP LABS AND ELECTIVES
THE SCHEDULE INVOLVES A FOLLOW-UP SESSION to the Intensive Workshop where you can
extend your practice of novel techniques, elaborate on new ideas, and consult with other writers as you
revise. In addition, an array of electives will add breadth to your Workshop experience: attend seminars
with visiting artists; explore other genres; combine writing with drawing, photography, dance, drama,
and music; investigate autobiography, nature writing, and the writer as activist; write in the privacy of your
room; enjoy outdoor recreation, and much more (see list). Elective courses are your opportunity
to experiment with what's new; they provide brief encounters with the eclectic and ignite untapped places
in the imagination.
