We write.  And rewrite.  We choose this.  Or maybe it chooses us.  Twenty years is a long, live wire   

                of creative electricity.  With this charge we will:

                We demand freedom of speech to show the freedom of thought we relish.

             We embrace our differences while celebrating our mutual passion for writing.

                  We use this time and place to become more open to change to actively experiment to begin something 

                  incredible.

                  We will write honestly and without pretension.

                  And we will always remember to laugh at ourselves.

                  We will lie and tell the truth, sometimes at the same time.

                        It's a writer's responsibility to experiment in order to further their craft.

                                                                          We will never be afraid to lean on each other.

                    We will be merciful to others and ourselves.

                      We acknowledge each of us has free will.  We trust

                    each other with this gift and empower each other to use it.

                                       We play, we laugh, we dance.
