Foundations of Wisdom
A Tongue in Cheek Poster Series
In June of 2003 a digital camera became a part of
my available equipment and the pictures hanging in this gallery
are those that were made as I experimented with it. They were all
made within walking distance from my office. Some were made during
lunch walks, others in the afternoon or morning, on the way to,
or from the parking lot.

A different camera is a wonderful way to experience a new way to
look at the world. I would not call myself a digital photographer,
so these images, and those in the SouthWest Gallery, are as normal
as any others, the difference being in how they were recorded.
The Foundation of Wisdom Series was a way of tying these diverse
images together. The first pictures in the series, Knowledge and
Harmony, made sense, but after a while I started to have fun, coming
up with Sharpness, Money and Bubbles.
