After a two-year illness Dad died in his home, surrounded by his beloved family on 5 February 2001. Some words I gave at his memorial service in St. Thomas Aquinas church.

Dad was buried at Arlington National cemetery. It was the type of military ceremony he would have liked: a simple service at the small chapel at Ft. Myer, a caisson pulled by horses, a full military band. He is buried a few feet away from his father and mother. Below are links to some photos of the funeral.
