The Concept.
The University of Virginia Sustainability House will give a physical space for the rapidly increasing student consciousness of sustainability.
The House will embody the University’s commitment to sustainability and to the Charlottesville community, as it will be a viable model for efficient living that can be applied outside of the University.
Student-residents will work together to create innovative, creative, and reasonable means for living sustainably in a setting that is similar to housing in Charlottesville and beyond.
