I hold a master's degree in Education from Wake Forest University and have been teaching undergraduate courses in English and Media Studies at the University of Virginia since 1997, while completing a doctorate in English. So far I've taught eleven courses at UVA, most of which have made extensive use of instructional technology.

• MDST 352: Material Textuality and the History of the Book (an innovative course, organized and run as a bibliographical mystery game called Biblioludica and sponsored in part by a grant from the Delmas Foundation)
