About me
I'm a Ph.D student in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, University of Virginia, under Dr. Anindya Dutta. I did my masters in computer science in the Department of Computer Science also at University of Virginia under Dr. Gabriel Robins and Dr. Anindya Dutta
My research has been in the areas of Computational Biology and Functional Genomics. During the last 5 years, I have worked on various projects, including,
- using high throughput sequencing technologies to study genome structure and variation.
- miRNAs and their role in cancer and development,
- studying replication using genome tiling microarrays and
- analysis of large scale siRNA screens,
