Adam Tiller

I am a PhD student in the philosophy department at the University of Virginia. My primary research interests are in contemporary metaphysics. More specifically, I am interested in how to characterize the notion of metaphysical dependence that is employed in both 'neo-Aristotelian' approaches to ontology and in structuralist views in the philosophy of mathematics.

I have a related interest in ancient metaphysics. I am especially interested in the relation between Aristotle's philosophy of mathematics and his broader project in the Metaphysics.
