I am a Whyburn Instructor of Mathematics at the University of
Virginia. I obtained my PhD from the University of Michigan under the
direction of Mel Hochster. Before going to Michigan, I was an undergraduate at the joint program of the University of Guanajuato and the Centre for Mathematical Research (CIMAT)
in Mexico, under the direction of Xavier Gómez-Mont. My research
interests are in commutative algebra and algebraic geometry. This
coming summer I will start a profesorship at CIMAT.
